A vehicle for transporting a child is provided which includes: a seat for receiving the child, a chassis, at least one front wheel attached to the chassis and operable to rotate thereabout. The chassis comprises a cage for supporting the seat, and a longitudinally extending backbone, the cage being mounted substantially above the backbone. The vehicle further includes a pair of rear wheels, a suspension for mounting the rear wheels to the backbone, the suspension comprising an elongate flexible member which extends substantially perpendicularly to the backbone, each rear wheel being operable to rotate about an extremity of the elongate flexible member, and a handle mounted to the chassis for engagement by an adult.
