VEHICLE HEATING SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vehicle of the mini van type including a rear seat section and front seats mounted in a passenger compartment is heated by a pad laid on the floor of the vehicle under the rear seats. The pad includes a narrow section extending from the front edge of the pad between the front seats to the dashboard for quick connection of a conduit within the pad to the coolant fluid circuit of the vehicle. Supply parts of the conduit pass through the narrow section via a valve into a convoluted path of the tube within the main body of the pad for heating the main body and emitting heat to the passengers in the rear seats. The pad is formed by a resilient moulded material within which is defined a plurality of channels together with a tube laid through the channels in the convoluted path and a floor covering material applied over the upper surface of the channels to provide an attractive appearance for the pad.
