A vehicle immobiliser comprises at least one ground engaging member (4) which is in use fixed to the vehicle and which is moveable between a stowed position in which it is carried by the vehicle and a ground engaging position in which it is under load from the weight of the vehicle and inhibits movement of the vehicle. When in said ground engaging position the ground engaging member (4) is continuously urged towards the ground by a spring biasing force.

La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif servant à immobiliser un véhicule automobile comportant au moins un organe (4) destiné à venir en contact avec le sol et qui, fixé au véhicule qui le transporte, peut passer d'une position de rangement à une position d'utilisation dans laquelle il fait appel au poids du véhicule pour s'opposer aux mouvements de celui-ci. Lorsqu'il est en position de contact avec le sol, l'organe d'immobilisation (4) est maintenu en contact continu avec le sol par la force d'un ressort.
