A material spreader has a base to be removably mounted in a dump truck box. The base includes a drag bar assembly to move material backward. Side frames mount a beater bar assembly to spread the material behind the truck. The drag bars and beater bar are driven by one or more hydraulic motors coupled to the truck hydraulic system. The drag bar assembly is operated by endless chains, which may be double, triple or quadruple. A gearbox coupled to a hydraulic motor drives the drag bar assembly, while the same or a different hydraulic motor drives the beater bar. Upper and lower beater bars may be incorporated, and driven by the same hydraulic motor.
Épandeuse comportant une base montable de façon non permanente sur un camion muni d'une benne. La base comporte une barre à raclettes permettant de déplacer du matériel en direction arrière. Des cadres latéraux portent une barre de batteurs pour épandre la matière en question derrière le camion. La barre à raclettes et la barre de batteurs sont entraînées par au moins un moteur hydraulique relié au système hydraulique du camion. La barre à raclettes est actionnée par des chaînes sans fin, qui peuvent être doubles, triples ou quadruples. Une boîte de vitesse reliée à un moteur hydraulique entraîne la barre à raclettes, alors que ce même moteur ou un autre moteur hydraulique entraîne la barre de batteurs. Les barres de batteurs supérieure et inférieure peuvent être intégrées et entraînées par le même moteur hydraulique.
