A road rolling attachment for a vehicle is disclosed. The attachment consists of a frame which is mounted to the vehicle, a roller supported by a axle, the axle being mounted to the frame such that the roller can rotate freely about a central axis. The roller has a elongated transverse beam coaxially mounted to the axle with a first circular support plate coaxially mounted adjacent the first end of the transverse beam and a second circular support plate coaxially mounted adjacent to the second end of the transverse beam. A number of pliable tires each having side walls, an outside diameter and a transverse diameter are mounted along the entire length of the beam between the first and second support plates in adjoining coaxial alignment. The outside diameter of the tires is greater than then the outside diameters of the first and second support plates. The number of tires, their transverse diameters, and the length of the transverse beam between the support plates are all selected, such that the support plates exert a transverse force against the side walls of the tires immediately adjacent to the support plates, the magnitude of the transverse force selected to support the tires.
