An object of the present invention is to provide a method of proximity detection based on transmitting at random intervals burst of an RF signal and receiving, while not transmitting, a received RF signal. When detecting said received RF signal emitted by a target in range, an alarm signal is provided to warn of the proximity of the target. Another aspect of the invention is to deploy the above method among members of a territory and provide a monitoring patrol to verify if the proximity of those members can be detected from their RF signal. Another aspect of the invention is to provide to those members a plurality of statuses among which each member selects one corresponding to its current status and transmits that status in the RF signal he transmits, thereby informing other members in range of his current status.

Cette invention porte sur un procédé de détection de proximité consistant à envoyer, à intervalles aléatoires, une rafale de signaux RF et à recevoir, sans émettre, un signal RF reçu. Lorsque le signal RF reçu émis par une cible dans le périmètre est détecté, un signal d'alarme est émis afin que la proximité de la cible soit signalée. Un autre aspect de la présente invention concerne la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé parmi des membres d'un territoire et la mise en place d'une patrouille de surveillance chargée de vérifier si la proximité de ces membres peut être détectée à partir de leur signal RF. Un autre aspect de cette invention vise à procurer auxdits membres une pluralité de statuts parmi lesquels chacun des membres choisit un statut correspondant à son statut du moment et envoie ledit statut dans le signal RF qu'il envoie, ce qui permet d'informer d'autres membres se trouvant dans le périmètre de son statut courant.
