A system for automatically calling the drivers attention to the upcoming need to bring his vehicle to a stop, which includes a transmitter (12) located at a fixed location along the roadway in the vicinity of the area where the vehicle is to come to a stop. The transmitter (12) transmits signals directed at oncoming vehicles. The system further includes a receiver (14) connected to an incoming vehicle for receiving the above signals. Finally, the system includes a mechanism (16) for outputting a warning message to the driver which is related to the signals received by the receiver (14).
Système automatique destiné à attirer l'attention d'un conducteur sur la nécessité imminente d'arrêter son véhicule. Le système comprend un émetteur (12) situé à un emplacement fixe le long de la route à proximité de la zone où le véhicule sera amené à s'arrêter. L'émetteur (12) permet de transmettre des signaux aux véhicules roulant dans sa direction. De plus, le système comprend également un récepteur (14) relié au véhicule qui approche permettant de recevoir lesdits signaux. Enfin, le système comprend un dispositif (16) permettant de fournir un message d'avertissement au conducteur en rapport avec les signaux reçus par le récepteur (14).
