ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vehicle-supported carrier for forestry equipment, for example scarifying and planting and/or seed production units, comprises a rod, which at one end is provided with means for detachably attaching such an implement, and which is connected to the vehicle in at least one point between its ends. The rod consists of two telescopically movable members, one of which is intended to be connected to the implement, and the other to the vehicle, which members are interconnected by a device exerting a force in such a manner that when said force, due to increased resistance exceeds a predetermined value said device permits relative movement between both members of the carrier and rod.
