A vehicle suspension for connecting a vehicle frame rail (52) to a first vehicle axle (54) and for connecting the vehicle frame rail (52) to a second vehicle axle (54) includes a fabricated equalizing beam (58) connected to the first and second vehicle axles (54) a split bolster spring assembly (72) connected to the equalizing beam (58), a fabricated saddle (76) connected to the split bolster spring assembly (72) and a modular shear plate (78) connected to the saddle (76) and to the vehicle frame rail (52). The modular shear plate (78) permits use of a universal saddle for mounting to a variety of vehicle frame configurations.
L'invention porte sur une suspension de véhicule reliant un longeron (52) du châssis du véhicule à un premier essieu (54) et à un deuxième essieu (54) et comprenant: une poutrelle (58) d'écartement mécano-soudée reliant le premier essieu (54) au deuxième (54); un ressort (72) de suspension dédoublé fixé à la poutrelle (58) d'écartement; un cavalier (76) mécano-soudé relié au ressort de suspension; et une plaque (78) de cisaillement modulaire fixée d'une part au cavalier (76) et d'autre part au longeron (52).
