here is presented a vehicle transmission comprising a gearbox (1) whose sump (3) has a screwed-on closing plate (5) through which passes an output shaft (2) connected to a U-joint fork (12), as well as an eddy-current-based electric retarder (20) comprising an induced rotor (22) and an inducing stator (21) mounted outboard of the sump by means of a frame assembly (27) that is fastened to the sump by the same screws used for the closing plate; the rotor has a support (49) that is fastened to the rear surface of the U-joint fork. The components and layout of the gearbox are thus made independent of the presence of the electric retarder.
Il s'agit d'une transmission de véhicule comprenant d'une part une boîte de vitesses (1) dont le carter (3) présente une plaque de fermeture (5) vissée traversée par un arbre de sortie (2) lié à une fourche de cardan (12), et d'autre part un ralentisseur électrique (20) à courants de Foucault comportant un rotor induit (22) et un stator inducteur (21) monté en porte-à-faux sur le carter à l'aide d'une ossature (27). L'ossature est fixée au carter par des vis (6) qui servent également à la fixation de la plaque de fermeture, et le rotor présente un organe de support (49) qui est fixé sur la face arrière de la fourche de cardan. La constitution et la disposition de la boîte de vitesses et de la fourche de cardan sont ainsi rendues indépendantes de la présence du ralentisseur électrique.
