A vehicular child safety seat comprises a waist belt engaging portion for deciding the vertical position of a waist belt provided on a movable member displaceable with respect to a base portion and locking means for restricting displacement of the movable member with respect to the base portion. The movable member is rendered rotatable about an axis X-X. A user can adjust the vertical position of the waist belt by rotating the movable member. The user can further fix the vertical position by changing the direction of a switch portion.
