ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE VEHICULAR HEADLIGHT A vehicular headlight for selectively emitting a high beam or a low beam features a main reflector having a mirrored surface which is divided into an upper reflector section for producing a low beam and a lower section for producing a high beam. The light source which is provided for both the low and the high beam is associated with an auxiliary reflector the position of which can be adjusted so that the light of the light source reflected by the auxiliary reflector is directed selectively to the upper reflector section or the lower section. The upper reflector section is designed for producing an optimal low beam and the lower section for producing an optimal high beam.
