Abstract: A suspension eye (1), having two suspension points, for an exhaust system of a motor vehicle has a band (2) of elastomer material and a self-contained Liner (3) which is elastically deformable in the plane of the band and has an at least rhombus-like initial shape. The liner (3) consists of extensible, resiliently com- pliant material. Embedded in the band (2) are two bushes (4, 5) and the liner (3) in the band (2) bears directly against the bushes (4, 5).
