A fan assembly including a casing (10) which is generally cylindrical in form and which has located therein a fan motor and fan blades including a casing which is generally cylindrical in form and which has located therein a fan motor and fan blades whereby air can be drawn into the casing, and delivered there from, and having a grille (30) extending over an open end of the casing. The grille has a plurality of angular curved blades (34) extending from a central portion (33) thereof to the periphery. These blades are preferably at an angle to the normal plane through the grille whereby inlet air into the casing is caused to move to, the fan blades at and angle which permits efficient operation of the fan.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble de ventilateur comprenant un boîtier (10) généralement de forme cylindrique et comportant à l~intérieur un moteur de ventilateur et des pales de ventilateur, permettant d'aspirer de l~air dans le boîtier et de l~en éjecter et ayant une grille (30) s~étendant sur une extrémité ouverte du boîtier. La grille a une pluralité de pales incurvées angulaires (34) s~étendant depuis une partie centrale (33) de celle-ci vers la périphérie. Ces pales font de préférence un certain angle par rapport au plan normal à travers la grille et l~air entré dans le boîtier est donc amené à se déplacer vers les pales de ventilateur à un angle permettant au ventilateur de fonctionner de façon efficace.
