ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A ventilated system for roofs is provided herein. The system includes an elongated channel member defining a main vertically-extending, ventilation-enhancing chamber and a secondary lateral intercommunicating vertically-extending ventilation-enhancing chamber. The channel member includes an upper horizontal fascia plate, a median horizontal fascia plate, and a lower plate. The upper fascia plate is connected to the median fascia plate by a downwardly- sloping roof plate, which thereby provides an upwardly- sloping ceiling for the secondary chamber. The median fascia plate is connected to the lower plate by an upwardly-sloping, underhanging perforated plate. This provides a perforated enclosed venting chamber adjacent the wall of the building.
