A ventilating/stirring culture tank comprising a longitudinal tubular container (2) capable of containing a culture fluid freely, a rotary shaft (3) supported in the container (2) coaxially therewith, stirring blades (4) fixed to the rotary shaft in order to stir the culture fluid, and a pipe (5) for feeding air into the container, wherein an opening (6) for putting a medium material and bacteria is provided at an upper part of the container. The ratio (HT/D) of the height (HT) to the inside diameter (D) of the straight body section (7) of the container is larger than 3.8 and baffle plates (8) for producing a turbulent flow in the culture fluid being stirred are provided on the inner circumferential wall of the container.
L~invention concerne une cuve de culture à ventilation / agitation, comprenant un réservoir longitudinal tubulaire (2) pouvant contenir librement un fluide de culture, un arbre rotatif (3) maintenu dans le réservoir (2) de manière coaxiale, des pales d~agitation (4) fixées sur l~arbre rotatif de façon à agiter le fluide de culture, et une conduite (5) pour alimenter le réservoir en air, une ouverture (6) d~introduction d~un milieu et de bactéries étant ménagée au niveau d~une partie supérieure du réservoir. Le rapport (HT/D) entre la hauteur (HT) et le diamètre intérieur (D) du tronçon de corps droit (7) du réservoir est supérieur à 3,8 et des chicanes (8) servant à créer un écoulement turbulent dans le fluide de culture agité sont montées sur la paroi circonférentielle intérieure du réservoir.
