- 29 - VENTILATION CONTROL SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A control device for a ventilation system including an intake vent in each of a number of zones communicating with a central fan includes a switch device for each of the zones and a central controller. Each switch device includes a single press button switch which is actuable by the user for instantaneous depression or for depression over a longer period of time. Instantan- eous depression causes an off-signal to be generated to halt the high speed operation of the fan. After a first delay an on-signal is generated. After a second delay a timer circuit is initiated for timing the period of high speed fan operation. Baffles between the fan and each of the vents can be actuated so that only the baffle at the zone in which the switch device is located remains open while the other baffles close.
