A ventilation structure for a shoe (12) having a sole portion (18) and a connected upper portion (14) utilizing an aperture or slit (22, 46, 76, 78) that is formed through the upper portion of the shoe. The aperture extends along a dimension of the upper portion of the shoe and is overlain with a mesh layer (28). A closure, such as a zipper (34, 48, 80, 82), shuts at least a portion of the aperture and blocks at least a portion of the mesh layer (28) from passage of air exterior to the interior of the shoe. The toe portion (24) of the shoe may be further provided with an opening (56) overlain with mesh (58) that is openable or closable with a flap (60).
L'invention concerne une structure de ventilation pour chaussure (12) à semelle (18) et partie supérieure raccordée (14), faisant appel à une ouverture ou une fente (22, 46, 76, 78) formée à travers la partie supérieure de la chaussure. Cette ouverture, qui se déploie sur une longueur de la partie supérieure, est recouverte d'une couche maillée (28).
