A venting container including a lid and base having an inner cavity and a side wall that terminates in a rim, the lid including a central panel and a peripheral sealing lip that surrounds the panel, the peripheral sealing lip having a generally inverted U-shaped cross section that defines a lid channel into which the container rim fits, the sealing lip including at least one venting feature in the form of a flexible venting button that is adapted to transition from a first position to a second position upon application of an actuation force, the venting button being further adapted and positioned whereby when the container rim is positioned in the lid channel and the venting button is in the first position, sealed engagement of the lid to the container is effectuated and when the venting button is in the second position a venting air passage is provided from the container cavity to the container surroundings. In a second embodiment, the venting feature is in the form of a downwardly protruding venting boss provided to the lid closure and a boss seat formed in the base closure whereby the venting boss is received with the boss seat when the lid is oriented in a first non venting attachment position and the venting boss abuts against a surface of the base closure to provide a vent passage between the lid and base upon removal and repositioning of the lid to a second venting attachment position.
L'invention concerne un récipient d'aération, qui comprend un couvercle et un socle présentant une cavité intérieure et une paroi latérale terminée par un rebord. Le couvercle comprend un panneau central, et une lèvre d'étanchéité périphérique entourant le panneau et présentant une section transversale généralement en forme de U inversé délimitant une rainure du couvercle dans laquelle vient s'ajuster le rebord du récipient. La lèvre d'étanchéité présente au moins un élément d'aération sous la forme d'un bouton d'aération souple adapté pour assurer le passage d'une première position à une seconde position, après application d'une force d'actionnement. Le bouton d'aération est en outre adapté et disposé de sorte que, lorsque le rebord du récipient est ajusté dans la rainure du couvercle et que le bouton d'aération se trouve dans la première position, le couvercle entre en prise hermétique avec le récipient; et lorsque le bouton d'aération se trouve dans la seconde position, un circuit d'air d'aération se crée entre la cavité du récipient et la périphérie du récipient. Dans un second mode de réalisation, l'élément d'aération se présente sous la forme d'une protubération d'aération saillant vers le bas ménagée sur la fermeture du couvercle, et d'un siège de la protubération formée dans la fermeture du socle, si bien que la protubération d'aération est reçue sur le siège de la protubération lorsque le couvercle est placé selon une première position de fixation sans aération, et de sorte que la protubération d'aération bute contre une surface de la fermeture du socle pour créer un circuit d'ération entre le couvercle et le socle après retrait et replacement du couvercle sur une seconde position de fixation d'aération.
