In the past many tools have been invented to perfect the art of producing cake layers. In our invention, a cutting blade extends horizontally between the legs of a U- shaped frame, whose height can be adjusted incrementally so as to produce a cake layer of desired thickness. Additionally, the U-shaped frame is mounted on castors that roll almost frictionlessly, allowing the cutting blade to slice the cake into perfect layers.
