A shirt/dress upper body garment constructed of fabric containing a UPF rating of 30+ with adjustable collar and sleeves having the function of protecting a person's skin from the adverse effects of UV (ultraviolet) radiation. A versatile upper body multi-mode garment (Figure 1) is configured to provide a variety of modes of wear with respect to hands, arms, neck, ears and scalp coverage. A shirt/dress has an integral collar necktie and hood which can be attached by magnetic fastener elements to cover the wearer's chest, neck, ears and scalp. A shirt's sleeves has an integral loop hole at the base of each sleeve which can be looped around wearer's finger(s), providing sun protection to the wearer's tops of hands. A shirt's sleeves contain magnetic fastening elements that enable wearer to adjust garment sleeve length to desired wearing mode.
