A vertical shaft type windmill has multiple V-shaped balanced horizontal blades. Four removable arms are mounted in a center plate assembly off center from the shaft connecting the apex of the V-shaped blades. The wind interception area of the blades increases from a minimum near the center plate to near five times this minimum at the rotor perimeter where the outer wings are arced to a direction parallel to the plane of rotation. The blades have a curvature trailing the direction of rotation in order to receive wind from any direction. The whole system is rotatably mounted on a housing with two oil cups. The oil cups are with outer walls sloping toward the shaft to induce oil movement in the bearings.
