It is known that wind is an abundant and environmentally safe source of energy. In this invention two or more wings are installed on a vertical axle. Each wing is equipped with flappers that open when wind blows on one side and close when wind blows on the opposite side of the wing thus windward wings that are closed are pushed back by wind pressure causing the axle to rotate, converting wind energy to rotational energy of the vertical axle.
