A parabolic modulation circuit multiples a horizontal parabolic signal and a vertical modulation signal together, to amplitude-modulate the horizontal parabolic signal using the vertical modulation signal, and modulates the phase of the horizontal parabolic signal on the basis of the vertical modulation signal, to output the modulated horizontal parabolic signal to a correction current output amplifier. When an NS pincushion distortion on a screen of a CRT is asymmetrical, a horizontal parabolic signal generation circuit is so set as to generate an asymmetrical horizontal parabolic signal. A gull-wing distortion can be corrected by adjusting the value of n in an n-th power waveform generator in the horizontal parabolic signal generation circuit.
Selon l'invention, un circuit de modulation parabolique réalise une modulation d'amplitude d'un signal parabolique horizontal par un signal de modulation vertical, par multiplication du signal parabolique horizontal et du signal de modulation vertical, et la phase du signal parabolique est modulée en fonction du signal de modulation vertical. Le signal parabolique horizontal modulé est transmis vers un amplificateur de sortie de courant de correction. Lorsqu'une distortion en coussin Nord-Sud sur le tube cathodique est asymétrique de gauche à droite, on règle un circuit de génération de signal parabolique horizontal, de manière à générer un signal horizontal asymétrique de gauche à droite. Par réglage de la valeur de n dans le générateur à forme d'onde de puissance n au niveau du circuit de génération de signal parabolique horizontal, il est possible de corriger la distortion en m.
