The invention relates to a vertical take-off vehicle including two thermoreactors (1) or turbine engines having a rectangular air inlet (2) which opens into a positive-displacement rotary compressor (3) that supplies compressed air to a tank which is connected to (i) a combustion chamber, the exhaust gases from which actuate a compressor-driving turbine (4) and are then discharged onto the upper surface (5) of the fixed rear wing, and (ii) the combustion chamber of the main engine (6), the exhaust gases from which are discharged directly onto the upper surface (7) of the wing (8), the variable incidence of which, in take-off mode, is set to generate a lift force which is added to the forces that develop on the front wings. In take-off mode, the variable-geometry upper surfaces (9) of the aforementioned front wings have a maximum camber onto which the exhaust gases produced in an internal combustion chamber located thereat flow at great speed. In cruise mode, said combustion chamber is switched off and the upper surface (9) returns to a reduced camber position as the rear wing (8) is returned to an incidence whereby the total drag and lift forces are optimised. According to the invention, the vehicle is particularly suitable for transporting passengers by air.

L'invention concerne un véhicule à décollage vertical constitué de ses deux Thermoréacteurs (1) : turbomachine dont l'entrée d'air (2) de section rectangulaire ouvre sur un compresseur volumétrique rotatif (3) alimentant en air comprimé un réservoir relié, d'une part, à une chambre de combustion dont les gaz brûlés actionnent une turbine (4) entraînant le compresseur (3), puis sont éjectés sur l'extrados (5) de la voilure arrière fixe, et d'autre part, à la chambre de combustion du propulseur principal (6) dont les gaz brûlés sont directement éjectés sur l'extrados (7) de la voilure (8) dont l'incidence variable, en mode décollage, est calée de façon à générer une force de portance qui s'ajoute à celles développées sur les voilures-avant dont les extrados à géométrie variable (9) présentent, en mode <= Décollage >=, un cambrure maximale sur laquelle s'écoulent à grande vitesse les gaz brûlés produits dans une chambre de combustion interne à cette voilure-avant. En mode <= Croisière >=, cette chambre de combustion est éteinte, l'extrados (9) reprenant alors une cambrure réduite en même temps que la voilure arrière (8) est ramenée à une incidence telle que les forces de portance et de traînée globales sont optimisées. Ce véhicule selon l'invention est particulièrement adapté au transport de passagers par voie aérienne.
