ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vertically disposed power take-off unit is taught wherein a bus duct section is vertically disposed and having an opening for a power take-off device in one of the side walls of the bus duct housing. A power take- off is detachably attached to the opening in the bus duct housing so as to be vertically disposed. A circuit con- trol device such as a circuit breaker is installed in the power take-off unit thereby allowing proper circuit breaker operation when vertically disposed in the vertical power take-off unit as well as providing an installation and use advantage.
