The invention relates to novel foams obtained by highly concentrated internal phase emulsion polymerisation, formed from an exclusively hydrocarbonated, cross-linked polymer based on styrenic monomers, and having a minimum density of 6 mg/cm3 and a maximum density of 20 mg/cm3, in addition to cells having a maximum average diameter of 20 microns. The invention also relates to a method for producing said foams.
L'invention se rapporte à de nouvelles mousses obtenues par polymérisation en émulsion à phase interne hautement concentrée, qui sont formées d'un polymère réticulé exclusivement hydrocarboné, à base de monomères styréniques, et qui présentent une densité au moins égale à 6 mg/cm3 et au plus égale à 20 mg/cm3 ainsi que des cellules d'un diamètre moyen au plus égal à 20 microns. Elle se rapporte également au procédé de fabrication de ces mousses.
