The invention relates to the use of a composition comprising a corticosteroid encapsulated in a vesicle for the manufacture of a medicament for treating cancer, such as the use of a composition comprising a corticosteroid and liposomes, the liposomes comprising a non-charged vesicle-forming lipid, and optionally an amphipathic vesicle-forming lipid and/or a negatively charged vesicle-forming lipid. The invention further relates to a new pharmaceutical composition suitable for treating cancer, and especially solid primary and secondary tumors.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'une composition comprenant un corticostéroïde encapsulé dans une vésicule pour la fabrication d'un médicament destiné au traitement du cancer, par exemple, l'utilisation d'une composition comprenant un corticostéroïde et des liposomes, les liposomes comprenant un lipide formant une vésicule, non chargé et, le cas échéant, un lipide formant une vésicule amphipathique et/ou un lipide formant une vésicule, chargé négativement. L'invention concerne en outre une nouvelle composition pharmaceutique appropriée pour le traitement du cancer, et notamment, des tumeurs primaires et secondaires solides.
