This invention relates to an apparatus for transporting fluid between a reservoir (in (1)) and a natural body cavity. The direction of flow can be in either direction. In a preferred embodiment the reservoir is fitted with a pump to advance fluid from the reservoir into the cavity. A locator (8) forming a part of the apparatus is adapted so at least part of it is fitted through a natural orifice and retained within the natural body cavity. The apparatus includes a securing (3, 4, 6) means which holds it in place on an animal (2) during the normal activities of that animal.

L'invention se rapporte à un appareil permettant de transporter un fluide entre un réservoir et une cavité corporelle naturelle. L'écoulement dans ledit appareil peut se faire de manière bidirectionnelle. Dans une réalisation préférée, le réservoir est équipé d'une pompe conçue pour faire progresser le fluide du réservoir vers l'intérieur de la cavité. Un dispositif de localisation, qui est intégré à l'appareil, est conçu de façon à rentrer au moins partiellement dans un orifice naturel et à être retenu à l'intérieur de la cavité corporelle naturelle. Ledit appareil comporte un moyen de fixation qui permet de le maintenir en place sur un animal au cours des activités normales de celui-ci.
