The Vibra-Trill is designed as a Longitudinal Ripple Separator, it is environmentally friendly. The Vibra-Trill employs the following systems to effect separation. 1 - The Concentrating device is parallel to the slurry (mineral concentrate) flow. 2 - It consists of multiple V-Riffles. 3 - It is a Laminar separator with graduated Vertical-V riffles creating a vertical gravity separation. 4 - It has two stages of Vibration. 5 - It is not only designed to effect heavy media separation, but may also be utilized to separate or clean light gravity minerals or product such as coal. It uses (1) film flow or sluices (2) graduated longitudinal sluice ways of a definite nature (3) high speed short cycle vibration automated control console with video display of the discharge ports (5) fraction control of nature or density of the three cuts. Concentrate middling, and tailings by density measurements in discharge traps which overflow to their respective recovery circuits, or recirculation (middling and possibly tailings).
