ABSTRACT The invention relates to a vibratory container (1) for the flocculating of waste water obtained upon vibratory (slide) grinding or the like, having an outlet pipe (27) and a feed nipple (2) which continues into a feed channel (19) which extends into the inside of the container (1) and is arranged in siphon-like manner with respect to the outlet pipe (27) and, for improved treatment of even chemically complex working liquids, it proposes subdividing the inside of the container by partition walls (16, 17, 18) into a plurality of chambers (I, II and III) arranged one behind the other in the direction of flow and associating with the chambers (I and II) arranged behind the feed channel (19) within the initial region of the flow, connection nipples (25, 26) the first ones of which serve for the introduction of flocculation preparation chemicals while the last connection nipple (26) serves for the addition of the flocculating agent. (Fig. 2)
