In order to provide the capability of distributing a material that is conveyed, a vibratory distribution conveyor (10) includes a deck (12) having a distribution edge (16). The distribution edge extends between an inlet end (14) and an end (18) remote therefrom and the deck (12) is subject to vibratory motion to cause material to be conveyed from the inlet end (14) toward the end (18) remote therefrom. With this arrangement, the declination of the deck is controlled about the longitudinal axis (20) to control the distribution characteristics of the conveyor (10).
