Video adapter hardware and software permitting the display of computer information and television signals across several display devices. The video adatper hardware includes at least one television programming input and a multiplexer for feeding television programming input and a multiplexer for feeding television programming to multiple television monitors. An alternative embodiment is adapted to feed at least one computer monitor and at least one television monitors, with or without also receiving computer generated input and combining the computer generated input with televsion programming for display on television monitors and/or computer monitors. Such adapters are useful for supporting video walls and other applications where it is desired to leverage the lower cost of television monitors as compared to computer monitors.
La présente invention concerne un adaptateur vidéo matériel et logiciel permettant d'afficher des informations informatiques et des signaux de télévision sur plusieurs dispositifs écran. L'adaptateur vidéo matériel comprend au moins une entrée de programmation de télévision et un multiplexeur permettant d'alimenter cette entrée de programmation vers de multiples écrans de télévision. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, cette invention est adaptée pour alimenter au moins un écran d'ordinateur et au moins un écran de télévision, pour recevoir ou non dans le même temps une entrée générée par ordinateur et combiner cette entrée générée par ordinateur avec la programmation de télévision en vue d'un affichage sur des écrans de télévision et/ou sur des écrans d'ordinateur. Ces adaptateurs sont utiles pour prendre en charge des parois vidéo et d'autres applications lorsqu'on souhaite profiter du coût plus faible des écrans de télévision par rapport à celui des écrans d'ordinateur.
