ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A portable video display terminal (VDT) filter used to intercept the movement of electrically-charged particles in a VDT environment thereby suppressing the emission of very-low- frequency and extremely-low-frequency radiation as well as reducing glare. The portable video display terminal filter further comprised of a resiliently flexible, thin, sheet film of translucent, self-adhesive material, preferably made of vinyl, the sheet film being pliable, the sheet film having two opposite surfaces of equal dimensions, one or both surfaces being self-adhesive and the other or both surfaces being surface-treated with an anti-glare coating, the sheet film disposed to be cut to the desired dimensions to match the glass display area surface of a VDT, after which the cut sheet film can then be directly attached to the glass display area surface of a VDT and pressed onto the surface by hand; the sheet film can then be removed from, and reattached to, any VDT glass display area surface, at any time, and as often as desired, thereby making the portable filter both removable and reusable.
