ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A video projecting apparatus which comprises a housing-like chassis (1) accommodating projecting lenses (2) and cathode-ray tubes (3) and provided at the front with a reflecting mirror (5). With this video projecting apparatus, the reflecting mirror (5) can be moved to an advanced position for projection onto a screen (51) and a retreated position accommodated in a front portion of the chassis (1) by driving a pair of extension-contraction mechanisms (9) for extension and contraction.
