A method for hierarchical visualization of multi-dimensional data is provided. A first dimension-reduction process is applied to a multi-dimensional data set to obtain a first visualization. A subset of the multi-dimensional data set associated with a selected region of the dimension-reduce first visualization is selected. A second dimension-reduction process is applied to the selected subset of the multi-dimensional data set to obtain at least one additional visualization.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de visualisation hiérarchique de données multidimensionnelles. Selon l'invention, on applique un premier procédé de réduction de dimension à un ensemble de données multidimensionnelles afin d'obtenir une première visualisation. On choisit un sous-ensemble de l'ensemble de données multidimensionnelles, associé à une région choisie de la première visualisation à dimension réduite. On applique un second procédé de réduction de dimension au sous-ensemble choisi de l'ensemble de données multidimensionnelles afin d'obtenir au moins une visualisation supplémentaire.
