ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides vinblastine derivates of the formula Image wherein R1 is an ester of an .alpha.-amino-acid or a peptide, possibly pro- tected, attached to the vinblastin-23-oyl moiety by an amide bond, the peptide comprising 1-6 identical or different amino- acids and the ester group, which may be straight or branched, containing 2-9 carbone atoms, and R2 is a hydrogene atom or C2-C9 acyl group, and their mineral or organic acid addition salts.
