The present invention relates to a process for preparing a vinylbenzyl phosphate of general formula (I): Image (I) where A is a methylene or ethylene radical which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4-alkyl, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen or methyl, R3 is hydrogen, methyl, hydroxyl or C1-C6- alkoxy, R4 and R5 are each hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, methoxy or haloqen, R6 is hydrogen, C1-C6-alkyl or C3-C6-cycloalkyl, R7 is hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl and R8 and R9 are each a radical -OR10 or -NR11Rl2, where R10 is hydrogen, C1-C8-alkyl, aryl or aralky , R11 and R12 are each hydrogen or C1-C6-alkyl, or R11 and/or R12 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, form a heterocyclic radical, and two radicals R10, R11 and/or R12 together in each case may furthermore be an ethylene or propylene group, and their physiologically tolerated salts and to the compounds when ever obtained by this process. The compounds are useful for the treatment of physiological disorders, specially as dermatological, antitumoral and antiarthritic agents.
