- 1 - Abstract: The invention provides a coating composition which comprises (A) a vinylic monomer-copolymerized resin having a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group, and (B) an alkoxy- lated amine formaldehyde condensate as a curing agent for the resin (A). When the coating composition is used as a base coating composition and/or as a clear coating composi- tion in the two coat-one bake coating system, the resulting coating film has excellent weather resistance and a good appearance.
