The present invention provides aqueous viscoelastic compositions comprising a cleavable surfactant and possibly also an electrolyte. The cleavable surfactants useful in the present invention comprise at least one weak chemical bond, which is capable of being broken under appropriate conditions, to produce oil soluble and water soluble products typically having no interfacial properties and surface activity compared with the original surfactant molecule. Further, the rheological properties of the aqueous viscolelastic composition are usually altered upon cleavage of the cleavable surfactant generally resulting in the elimination of the viscofying, viscoelastic and surfactant properties of the composition. Aqueous viscoelastic compositions in accordance with the present invention are suitable for use in oil-field applications, particularly for hydraulic fracturing of subterranean formations. Thus, the present invention also relates to a wellbore service fluid and a method of fracturing a subterranean formation. The present invention also concerns novel cleavable surfactants.
La présente invention concerne des compositions viscoélastiques aqueuses comprenant un tensioactif clivable et éventuellement également un électrolyte. Les tensioactifs clivables utilisables dans le cadre de l'invention comprennent au moins une liaison chimique faible, susceptible de s'interrompre dans des conditions idoines, de façon à produire des produits solubles dans l'huile et des produits solubles dans l'eau sans les propriétés d'interface et de tension superficielle des molécules du tensioactif d'origine. En outre, les propriétés rhéologiques de la composition viscoélastique aqueuse sont généralement modifiées au clivage du tensioactif clivable, ce qui aboutit généralement à la disparition des propriétés d'amélioration de la viscosité, de viscoélasticité et de tension superficielle de la composition. Les compositions viscoélastiques aqueuses de l'invention conviennent particulièrement pour les applications d'exploitation pétrolière, notamment pour la fracturation hydraulique des formations souterraines. L'invention concerne également un fluide de service de puits foré et un procédé de fracturation de formation souterraine. L'invention concerne enfin de nouveaux tensioactifs clivables.
