An apparatus for applying to a surface a viscous liquid includes a wand having a handle, an elongated tubular barrel, an angled adapter, and a sharp-edged spray tip, one of the barrel or the angled adapter being directly connected to the handle while the other of the barrel or the angled adapter being directly connected to the tip. The handle, the barrel and the adapter are arranged such that when the handle is held by an operator in an ergonomic position the axis of the adhesive spray emanates from the tip at approximately ninety (90) degrees to the surface. The elongated tubular barrel has a length between about one and one-half (1.5) and about four (4) feet.

Ce dispositif permettant d'appliquer sur une surface un liquide visqueux est constitué d'une lance pourvue d'une poignée, d'un tube allongé, d'un adaptateur formant un angle et d'une tête de pulvérisation à bord vif, le tube ou l'adaptateur étant directement raccordé à la poignée et celui des deux qui n'est pas raccordé à la poignée étant raccordé à la tête de pulvérisation. La poignée, le tube et l'adaptateur sont conçus de manière que, lorsqu'un opérateur tient en main la poignée dans une position ergonomique, l'axe de la pulvérisation d'adhésif sorte de la tête à quatre-vingt-dix degrés (90) environ par rapport à la surface. La longueur du tube allongé est comprise entre environ un pied et demi (1,5) et quatre (4) pieds.
