VISCOUS VIBRATION DAMPER Abstract of the Disclosure The disclosure illustrates a viscous vibration damper capable of manufacture using low cost fabrication techniques. Formed and welded steel plates form an annular working chamber containing a viscous fluid and an annular inertia ring consisting of series of stacked welded discs. One of the discs has a pair of spaced holes at fixed lo- cations relative to its central axis. The remaining discs have dimples at the same location relative to their central axis. The dimples permit the discs to be nestled in con- centric alignment. The outermost discs have holes which provide recesses for nylon bearing pads for the inertia ring.
