A system for testing, quantifying visual field and other visual function information in a head mounted virtual reality environment (12), utilizing a directed image formation device (13) for scanning of an image onto the retina of the test subject. A method, and an apparatus are also provided for utilizing a central neural network, a central data bank to perform automatic interpretation of the visual function test parameters obtained in a plurality of visual field testing systems for a plurality of patients, with control, and response signals being transmitted via the Internet. The data produced by the testing systems are automatically analyzed, and compared with patterns on which the neural network was previously trained. Clinical diagnoses for pathological conditions are thereby suggested to the respective clinician for each patient.
L'invention concerne un système qui permet de contrôler et quantifier le champ visuel et d'autres informations sur les fonctions visuelles dans un casque de réalité virtuelle (12) au moyen d'un dispositif de formation d'image dirigé (13) servant à numériser une image sur la rétine du sujet faisant l'objet du contrôle. L'invention concerne également un procédé et un appareil qui mettent en oeuvre un réseau du système nerveux central et une banque centrale de données pour effectuer une interprétation automatique des paramètres de contrôle des fonctions visuelles définis dans plusieurs systèmes de contrôle du champ visuel pour plusieurs patients, les signaux de contrôle et de réponse étant transmis via Internet. Les données produites par les systèmes de contrôle sont automatiquement analysées et comparées avec des modèles sur lesquels le réseau neuronal a été précédemment entraîné. Des diagnostics cliniques d'états pathologiques sont ainsi suggérés au clinicien concerné pour chaque patient.
