Abstract The invention relates to novel stable, dry, free-flowing preparations containing ascorbic acid or a salt thereof and to a process for the manufacture of such preparations by mixing a pre-swollen, non- agglutinating cereal grain with a substantially concentrated aqueous solution of ascorbic acid or of a salt thereof, drying the mixture and, if desired, comminuting same. These preparations have improved stability, particularly when used in feedstuffs.
