The invention describes a method for preparing a vitreous or pewter enamel stripper comprising 68 % by weight of a water mixture to which the following components are added: 11 % by weight of ammonium bifluoride (ammonium salts) with a concentration of between 96 and 97 %; 14 % by weight of glacial acetic acid with a concentration ranging between 98 and 99 % and 7 % by weight of sulfuric acid with a concentration of 98 %, 68 % of the remaining mixture being water. The method for stripping the vitreous or pewter enamel involves dipping the enameled articles into a container or kettle at a temperature higher than ambient temperature.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une substance éliminant les émaux vitreux ou potées d'étain comprenant le mélange d'une base d'eau dont le pourcentage en poids correspond à 68 % à laquelle on ajoute un bifluorure d'ammonium (sels d'ammonium) dont la teneur est comprise entre 96 et 97 % selon un pourcentage s'élevant à 11 %, un acide acétique glacial dont la teneur est comprise entre 98 et 99 % selon un pourcentage correspondant à 14 % et un acide sulfurique dont la teneur est de 98 % selon un pourcentage s'élevant à 7 %, un mélange dans lequel les 68 % restants correspondent à de l'eau. Le procédé d'élimination de l'émail vitreux ou potée d'étain consiste en outre à soumettre les pièces émaillées à un bain à l'intérieur d'un récipient ou pot à une température supérieure à celle ambiante.
