The present invention is related to the fields of molecular biology, virology, immunology and medicine. The invention provides a composition comprising a virus-like particle (VLP) of an RNA-bacteriophage and at least one antigen, wherein the VLP is recombinantly produced in a host, and wherein the amount of host RNA with secondary structure comprised by the VLP is at most 20% of the amount of host RNA with secondary structure originally comprised by the VLP; and wherein the VLP and the at least one antigen are linked with one another. The invention also provides methods for producing the compositions of the invention. The compositions of the invention are useful in the production of vaccines for the treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions. Furthermore, the compositions of the invention are particularly useful to efficiently induce strong antibody responses against the antigen within the indicated context while lowering or eliminating unwanted T cell responses.

La présente invention relève des domaines de la biologie moléculaire, de la virologie, de l'immunologie et de la médecine. L'invention concerne une composition contenant une pseudo-particule virale (VLP) d'un bactériophage à ARN et au moins un antigène, la VLP étant produite par recombinaison chez un hôte, et la quantité d'ARN de l'hôte présentant une structure secondaire formée par la VLP représentant au maximum 20 % de la quantité de l'ARN de l'hôte présentant une structure secondaire formée initialement par la VLP. En outre, la VLP et ledit antigène sont liés l'un à l'autre. L'invention a également trait à des procédés de production des compositions selon l'invention. Les compositions selon l'invention sont utiles pour produire des vaccins destinés à traiter des maladies, des troubles et des états pathologiques. En outre, les compositions selon l'invention sont particulièrement utiles pour induire efficacement des réponses anticorps fortes dirigées contre l'antigène dans le contexte indiqué, tout en diminuant ou éliminant des réponses lymphocytes T indésirables.
