A voice activated control system includes a microphone into which a voice command is input. A speech recognition unit coupled to the microphone recognizes the input voice command when it corresponds with a voice command stored therein. A voice command attribute detector is also coupled to the microphone and detects the value of a parameter of at least one attribute of the input voice command. A controller is responsive to the speech recognition unit and the voicecommand attribute detector when the input voice command is recognized and executes an operation associated with the recognized input voice command. The controller varies the execution of the operation in accordance with the value of the detected parameter of the at least one attribute.
L'invention est un système de commande actionné par la voix qui comprend un microphone dans lequel une parole de commande est introduite. Une unité de reconnaissance vocale couplée à ce microphone reconnaît la parole de commande introduite quand celle-ci correspond à une parole de commande stockée dans le système. Un détecteur d'attributs de parole de commande est également couplé au microphone et détecte la valeur d'un paramètre d'un attribut au moins de la parole de commande introduite. Un contrôleur réagit aux réactions de l'unité de reconnaissance vocale et du détecteur d'attributs de parole de commande quand la parole de commande introduite a été reconnue et exécute une opération associée à la parole de commande reconnue.
