A system for distributing voice information service messages (VISMs) to subscribers through their voice pagers (199) is provided with a voice information service workstation (105) where VISMs are recorded, and a voice information service terminal (120) which converts the VISMs into voice pages and transfers them into a voice paging network for distribution to subscribers' voice pagers (199). The system may be accessed by subscribers via telephone (180), computer (185), or voice pager (199) for changing personal settings.
