A void former for use in the casting of concrete wall panels to form a recess in a surface of the panel, comprises a flexible shell of box-like form is open at one side, an opposite side of the shell being closed and being adapted for co-operation with a connection mounting cast into the panel to be accessible via the recess in the panel. The shell includes a removable rigidifying insert which, after casting of the panel, is removed from the shell to permit removal of the shell from the recess thus formed, by flexing of the shell.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de formation de cavités pouvant être utilisé dans le coulage de panneaux muraux en béton afin de former un évidement dans une surface du panneau. Ce dispositif comprend un coffrage souple en forme de boîte qui est ouvert d'un côté, un côté opposé du coffrage étant fermé et étant conçu pour coopérer avec une coulée de fixation dans le panneau étant accessible par l'évidement dans le panneau. Le coffrage inclut une pièce rapportée de rigidification amovible, laquelle, après le coulage du panneau, est enlevée du coffrage afin de permettre d'enlever le coffrage de l'évidement ainsi formé, par flexion du coffrage.
