A VoIP network in which the user of a device can activate any addition service, without thinking of the device to which his or her device should be connected. VoIP media packets are transmitted between a network (A) that can provide additional VoIP services and a network(B) that cannot provide additional VoIP services, through a VoIP media proxy server. When any additional service is activated in the network(A), the VoIP media proxy server generates a service media packet and transmits this packet to the network (B).
